Nicholas Welker is a graphic designer and multidisciplinary artist specializing in branding, typography, glass, screen printing, and art history. He earned his BFA in Graphic Design in 2019 from Bowling Green State University.

A self-proclaimed “sneakerhead,” Nick draws much of his inspiration from the world of fashion, music videos, and contemporary art. In his work, Nick finds himself more drawn to the physical and visual aspects of design and is excited to be making when the result is something tactile that exists in space. Nick tends to work backwards, thinking about the final outcome of a work and then reverse engineering what is needed to reach the result. That said, Nick can’t think of a single time a piece turned out exactly as he initially imagined it, as it often is modified in his head many times throughout the process. To put it simply, he’s just happy as long as he is making.
